Who can apply	Poor and meritorious students belonging to any minority community (Muslim/ Christian / Sikh / Buddhist / Parsee) having annual family income less than Rs. 40,000/- in rural areas and Rs. 55,000/- in urban areas in the age group of 16 to 32 years may apply for a need based loan.

Selection Procedure	On the basis of merit and economic condition
Eligibility Criteria	Interest free Educational Loan for Technical & Professional Degree Courses (B.Tech / B.E. / Nurshing / MBA / MBBS etc.) The applicant should have obtained minimum 65% marks in Madhyamik or equivalent, 60% in Higher Secondary or equivalent, or 55% in Graduate level Examination of any recognized Board/Council/University in the academic year.
